    Do you owe more than £15,000 (excluding mortgages)? I have pasted the below from MSE Credit Club. I noticed my Experian Credit Score went from 'good' to 'poor' as soon as my total debt exceeded £15,000. Clearscore still have me in their 'excellent' category. I wouldn't worry about how each CRA rates you. Just check your credit history.


    Your Experian Credit Score

    Credit Club members can view their Experian Credit Score for free, and it is updated every 30 days - on the anniversary of you joining. This score is put together from information in your Experian Credit Report and ranges from 0-999 (to see the information in your Experian Credit Report see how to check your credit report.

    The factors that can affect your Experian Credit Score include how easy it is to verify your identity and how have you managed past and current credit. Things that can affect it include:

    Late payments (including Defaulted and Delinquent accounts)
    Opening and closing new accounts (except mortgages)
    Going over your agreed credit limits (e.g. spending £1100 on a credit card with a £1000 limit)
    If the total amount you owe across all of your credit accounts (excluding mortgages) is above £15,000
    Less available credit (e.g. if you've £10,000 of credit and you're using most of it)
    If you've declared yourself bankrupt or insolvent, agreed an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) with a bank or financial institution, or had a County Court Judgment (CCJ) recorded against you
