    Hello debt free wannabes!

Feeling a bit stressed about the impending move and all the costs of it. I've been waking up with tension headaches all week. I'm trying to relax and go with the flow but it's hard. I really wanted a couple of thousand in the bank to fall back on before we move for any extras. I've got to think that if we do get into debt it won't be nearly as bad as it was and we can easily pay it off in the new year.

We had to scrabble together some money from accounts to pay for food for this week and even then some of it has gone on credit card so I will have to pay that off with some of our life savings later. Roll on payday on Friday but even then we are on holiday so wil need some spending money!!

I've just had to pay £245 for swimming lessons for my two for the autumn term and £62 for pantomime tickets for Christmas and then £153 for bars for the roof box for our car. All costs are coming at once!!!

I'm just going to take it a week at a time now and try not too think too far ahead as it just freaks me out!!

Still haven't done any school work or sewing or blogging either!!

I really need to start getting a grip on things!!

Still not feeling on top of things or done anything that I need to do.

Although in saying that husband tackled the loft this morning and took a load of stuff to the tip. It's tidier and we can see the areas that need sorting now.

I've also just put a big ticket item on the tree of gum and have a few other things I need to get on there.

I have a bag of clothes that are sellable but wondering whether the time and effort of putting them on bay of e is worth the money I will get for them or a charity shop would be better. I didn't get any wins the last lot I tried.

Thankfully mine are 5 and nearly 3 so I can make clothes last 2 years then I don't mind giving them to charity if they had have a good run so to speak.
I get most of their clothes from supermarkets so they are cheap.

    Better get on with stuff.

Big ticket item sold already for £50 so that's money in the pot which is great.

I really need to update my signature. Got some more paperwork ready for the move but we are still awaiting or mortgage to be approved. Hopefully should here back later today. It would be good to know that before we go on holiday on Friday!

I'm feeling good about selling stuff now so I'm planning to get some more stud on the tree of gum today.

Got to keep thinking about those baby steps.

It's great when you sell unwanted stuff isn't it. I've sold loads of stuff on Gumtree and Facebook selling sites that was just sat there gathering dust.

    Afternoon all

Feeling pretty carp now as I've just blown up the washing machine. Husband is on his way from home to have a look but it blew a fuse as the electrics went off. We need to buy one for the new house anyway and can always take it off the list of what is excluded in the selling of this house.

I was very interested in my reaction. I immediately went to the shop and bought myself crisps and cake to eat to feel better and then mentally beat myself up for making such a foolish mistake (I've overloaded it) and that 'we will never get out of debt now' and 'people will realise how rubbish I really am with money and that I am such a fraud.'

Such catastrophic thinking for something that really is a small non-event.

I've been struggling recently will my self worth as it appears to be tied up with how much I can get done rather than who I am and what I like. My mum is a real list maker and really prides herself on what she has achieved each day and I fear I am taking after her. I don't want to be like this and mostly I am not - well to the outside world anyway. The reality is at home, I have lost my sense of fun and replaced it with a panicky sense of perfectionism which isn't doing my health any good as I am restless, stressed and not looking after myself. Every day I wake up and think 'today will be different - I will achieve stuff' and when I don't manage to meet my own unrealistic expectations I get frustrated with myself and take it out on my husband and my kids.

I live in fear of feeling lazy and not meeting my potential and it is having a detrimental effect on my happiness.

I'm going to try really hard to live in the moment and find the old fun me again and stop living by my to do list and how much of it gets done.
