Wife refusing to divorce.

My wife and I have been separated for nearly 3 years, I want to divorce her but she's refusing . The reason being nothing apart from being bitter and difficult. She had multiple affairs and left me to move in with another man. I have since moved on and met someone else. We have sold our house and split the equity and we no financial ties. What are my options? Has anyone divorced without using a solicitor or using an online service?

Two years separation with agreement / five years without.
Head over to Wikivorce for info and a very useful discussion forum
I divorced without solicitor, you just have to be good at paperwork. :heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Even on the grounds of adultery ?0

Post deleted - it was poorly phrased, and TBagpuss corrected me below. I didn't clarify the difference between agreeing and admitting.
Seriously, head to Wikivorce. It's a specialist area for this topic

Might take a while to sort out, so make sure you have a will in place that reflects your current position.0

This may seem a silly question but why do I need a will to divorce?0 -
No, to ensure she does not receive your assets if you die. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Because if you don't, if you should die before divorce everything will go to her as your wife.0

In addition to your Will, don't forget to revisit any 'expression of interest' forms you may have completed for your works pension(s).0 -

Your question has already been answered, but suggests you don't have one, so sort that out as a priority.0 -
You CAN sue for divorce without her agreement based on her adultery but it is the less amicable way of ending the marriage and in those circumstances, you might be wise to seek good legal advice.
If she is living with another man, it is generally assumed by the courts that the relationship involves sexual activity which makes 'proof' a bit easier for the petitioner.0
