Debt Recovery Plus and Premiere Parking Solutions

Hi Guys,
hope someone can give me some advice here, have had a google about previously and a read through the other topics.
My employer received a parking notice for the company vehicle I was driving back in February. He informed Premier Parking Solutions who issued the ticket that I was driving the car at the time. Firstly I admit I did not put a ticket on the car, I completely forgot in all honesty, I was on call fixing a fruit machine in a pub and was in and out in about ten minutes. The first I heard about the ticket was when a letter came through the post to the office with camera pictures attached.
After that I heard nothing, I was expecting something to come through the post but nothing did. Four months ago I left that company.
Have come back from holiday today to find a letter from Debt Recovery Solutions demanding £160 for non payment.
This is the first letter I've personally received regarding this matter.
Where should I go from here?
Thanks

Thanks, I have read through all the posts but couldn't find anything specific to my case.
The point I'm making is that I never personally received any notification from Premiere Parking Solutions at any point during the process so I have not been able to appeal, nor can I appeal now it would appear.
My attention was only drawn to this because my office manager told me and showed me the letter at the time. I was told I wasn't allowed to do anything at the time and they would be forwarding my details.
Should my best course of action be to email DRP informing them that I have not been informed of the violation and that I no longer work for the company that owns the company vehicle? Or, should I just Ignore fullstop?
Thanks againBest wins ever:

Your situation is covered by the NEWBIES thread.
Send the IPC template letter stating this is the first you have heard about it, and therefore consider it to be the notice to keeper.
What happened when you complained to the landowner?
Please correct the name of the parking company in your original post. There are so many companies with similar names that it is important to be precise.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Yes, send the IPC NEWBIES appeal to PPS (keep proof of sending) and call yourself the 'keeper of the vehicle at the time', that you are aware that the company named you as the person with responsibility for this vehicle - but state you were never served with any letters at all. State that you reasonably believed the matter to be closed because of course, a parking company MUST serve a NTD or NTK to the person they intend to hold liable.
Ask them to send you the Notice to Driver/Keeper that they contend was served to YOU. Remind them that six months has passed so they are too late to serve one now as their own IPC Code of Practice disallows it. Suggest they are timed out so must cancel.*
*P.S. they won't cancel, but your response will help you later if they try a small claim which is like hen's teeth from that firm:

Hardly litigious and you've never been served with any PCN. Do not admit driving. Your company DID NOT name you 'as driver' because they could not have known unless they were sitting next to you that day. You are the 'keeper' of the car at the time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
