As already pointed out, if you have so much cash that you can buy 'several' million pound properties to rent out then why are you trying to save a few quid by asking these questions on a public forum. Speak to a solicitor and/or an accountant i.e. pay for some professional advice, you can obviously afford it.
[buy 'several' million pound properties] look try and keep your knickers on I never mentioned buying this kind of thing whatsoever. I intend to make small purchases modern flats in key postcodes that will bring the most return. Very much in the research phase and gaining advice before taking the plunge.
