Advice needed around snagging and new build

Hi all,
Any advice appreciated.
In December last year we moved into out newbuild home and all seemed well. We put our snagging list together and sent them to the builders. The builder is a small company and not a national chain.
When we moved in we noticed a number of issues on top of the snagging. The carpets and the laminate flooring were not the options we chose. The built in wardrobes are terrible and unusable. Also the bedroom window which is a velux window is smaller than the window in the show house and makes a big difference.
Fast forward to todayd date and the snagging has barely been touched. The cooker extractor fan has not worked since the day we moved in and 10 months later still doesnt work.
The carpets we have had fitted are so thin that the grippers are coming through and have cut my childrens heals and fingers as they are so sharp. Nothing has been done. They did eventually send someone out to look at this but they said there is nothing they can do as the carpets are so thin they cannot stop them poking through.
We have had water pouring through the ceilings everytime we get a bath or shower and the ceilings are water stained.
Alot of the fixtures and fittings included as standard are missing.
The sales office feel for us and there is nothing more they can do. We are dealing with the managing director (company owner) directly and have emailes him all my issues over and above the snagging and he isnt addressing my issues.
Also... we had an issue where the brick work below the patio doors were not sealed properly and the cold air was blowing into the living room. As a result we had to keep our heating on constantly high to make sure the ground floor stayed warm. I have today got a backdated gas bill of over £500. Really not happy but he isnt communicating.
Any advice please help

Did you get a warranty by an organisation like the NHBC? If so, contact them as they should be able to put some pressure on the builder.0
