A friend who I bumped into and haven't his details bought trade (Bricky) from Trade Kitchen Suppliers - all looks like B and q etc and got someone to fit it.
Any info greatly appreciated

We used DIY kitchens after lots of recommendations on here. Will definitely use them again in our current house. Great value and better quality than flat pack0

did you buy one of the wrapped ones (vinyl /foil) or something else and are you happy with the cabniet construction?Argentine by birth,English by nature0 -
B&Q - two kitchens installed; very happy with them.0

A kitchen is only as good as the person who fits it, so local independents with genuine positive feedback from existing customers will possibly be more reliable than nationals in this respect. Nationals will sub-contract, so may be good, or not so good.
Or you can find the fitter first and then buy the kitchen. Even in my small village there is someone well-respected, who has trade contacts and knows where the best deals are at each price point. This is the route I'd choose.0 -
A good joiner is the first step. They should know a tiler, plumber and electrician to bring in. Our tiler also decorated, top class. As I've said in another thread, our guy has fitted 5 kitchens from DIY now and he raves about then as much better than B&Q/Howdens.0

personally I would find a good kitchen fitter, not a joiner.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Stay away from the sheds, poor quality over priced bad service. A good local independent will generally get you a better quality kitchen around the same price as one of the sheds will quote you.0
