Ref Number (blah blah)
Vehicle Reg (blah blah)
Entry Time/Date 14:06 12/10/2016
Exit Time/Date 16:08 12/10/2016
Duration 2 hrs 2 mins
Amount Due £70.00
It then shows two pictures of our car, with clear reg number, the first one entering over the line into the car park boundary and the second one exiting over the line out of the car park, both time and date stamped as above.
Thanks for all the other advice, I will check the newbies faq thread. We got home from holiday at 6am this morning to find this waiting for us on the door mat. I was fuming. I will calm down and take all your advice! Thanks.)
So Horizon have very kindly shown proof that the car was not parked at those two specific times. They have not shown the times or in fact any proof at all when the car was parked, which must have been between, not at those two times.dollyxdimple wrote: »
We haven't done that yet. We just got back off of holiday at 6am this morning to find this on our doormat. However, tomorrow, we need to go to said ASDA , to do our weekly shop (maybe for the last time ever! - goodbye ASDA and hello Morrisons/Tesco's/Sainsburys/Aldi/Lidl/Waitrose etc!) and I will be taking it with me to show the Manager when we go. Hopefully s/he will sort it out for us.
That's the ticket! (Pun intended.)
Print off the BPA CoP part that refers to grace periods.
You could ask when you arrive that you would like to see a manager at checkout.
Show him/her the CoP grace periods printout and the pictures showing the times when you were NOT parked.
You then give them the option of cancelling the PCN and you purchasing your trolley-full of food or, leaving the trolley and never coming back if they fail to cancel.
Take previous receipts/redacted bank/card statements to prove that you are about to become ex-regular customers.
Don't pay unless it is cancelled. Don't accept a, "we'll cancel this as a gesture of goodwill" either. Using scammers is never an act of goodwill.

photocopy your ticket , and clearly write your email address (and name) on it , give the COPY to the manager , ask him to sort it , and to send you an email to confirm it , then hold onto your original and the email if horizon continue afterwardsSave a Rachael

I've already said, it cannot be an overstay of 2 minutes. That is not what this is about.
Nothing in the PCN has said that it was - but we haven't seen the signs, could do with seeing what they say to understand the contravention.
But for the moment the appeal is a template one copied from the NEWBIES thread - an easy stage, just to get a POPLA code. Horizon accept email appeals I think so the OP could add a line asking what the contravention is alleged to be because the NTK doesn't make it clear.
Just don't add anything that implies who was driving!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
