Paying cash in at Post Offices to current accounts

Just wondering if anyone with different banks is able to help with this.
There is some info on the PO website but most banks seem to be very unhelpful in showing whether you can pay in cash at the post office using a card.
I have an HSBC account and that works fine, hand over cash, put card in machine and cash instantly credited to the account. I know Clydesdale does the same but does anyone know other banks that have the same process? I'd prefer not to have to use paying in slips if possible.

Santander allow customers to deposit using post office and it's in your account instantly, I use the service every other day.0 -

My local HSBC is closing November 1st and the Post Office next door has a sign on their door saying you can use them to pay into your HSBC account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. HSBC and First Direct allow you to pay in cash using your debit card only. (You give it to the cashier to swipe instead of putting into the chip reader). The cash is credited immediately.0

I have just today (or yesterday rather) deposited cash into my Co-op account using the post office. I have never ever done this before, thought it was only PO accounts or something that it was done for, but turns out I'm oblivious lol I usually deposit my money into my other banks and transfer to Co-op but can't get to any banks soon so googled it and turns out you can use PO for Co-op accounts for both cash and cheques. But you need a paying in slip for cheques which I don't have. Didn't even ask for a PIN number weirdly, just inserted card into chip and pin machine and got a receipt.0
