Damp condensation and mould

We bought our leasehold flat last year and have since found damp patches which were covered over with paint. We have extreme condensation on our windows where I believe the seal has worn out although from the outside it looks like there's no seal at all. We also have black green furry mould growing on the exterior walls. the damp proof course is damaged and is being replaced. The management company are of course blaming us for everything :mad:
My questions are: can I seal the Windows myself? It looks quite easy online. Or should I hire someone to do it? Safestyle fitted the Windows but their 10 year warrenty has every excuse in the book so I haven't even bothered to contact them. Will this stop the condensation?

Condensation comes from inside so to prevent this hanging around the walls and windows you need to ensure adequate heating and ventilation. Make sure extractor fans are always running whenever you're in the bathroom or cooking in the kitchen, and leave it running for a good time afterwards. Open windows whenever possible. Dry clothes outside or in the bathroom with extractor fan on so the moisture can escape.
