Winter fuel allowance
Hi everyone 😊.
Has anyone received their winter fuel allowance yet?
My husband got it for the first time last year, and received early, but don't know when it's due this year. Is it right that after the first year it automatically goes into your account?

The winter fuel payment is essentially an aged based benefit (with a few exclusions). So if you receive a state pension you are generally entitled to the payment (again with some terms such as you living in the UK, and not being in prison, hospital or care home etc)
So if your husband got it last year, and his circumstances have not changed, then he should probably be receiving it this year. It's paid automatically to those that are entitled in most cases (and yes, it's automatic if you got it last year)
Normally it is paid in November or December.
