I am thinking of treating my hubby to a trip to the Spanish Grand
Prix but don't know the best way to book. Easy jet flights are quite reasonable at the moment but I don't know where to stay or for how long. does anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

I take it you mean the F1 rather than the MotoGP?
If so, there are a few budget (Ibis, Holiday inn Express etc.) in Granollers right near the circuit
EDIT: the 2107 calendar is still only provisionalChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
Thank you I will take a look.0

You can really stay anywhere as far as Llorret de mar for an easy enough commute. If booking a hire car make sure you get it BEFORE the Saturday. Make sure you get there at least on the Friday, Ideally Wednesday.0

I believe some companies have package tours for the grand prix such as this one, perhaps it would take the hassle away?

It's an easy train ride from Barcelona to the track, then pleasant a walk from the station, there are buses to the centre of Barcelona too, but having seen the traffic trying to leave the track I wouldn't drive or take the bus.
Hotels in Barcelona don't seem to hike their prices up on a GP weekend too much. The hotels in Granollers get booked really early, in fact you'll be lucky if any have rooms left, if they do, book them now!
Barcelona is one of the fixed date races, so you're pretty safe to book now.
You can buy tickets direct from the circuit, that's the cheapest way

You can book a package, but they tend to be a rip off.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
stay in barcelona and get the train to montmello, then its a about a 15min walk to the track0
