Lots of websites seem to be down at the moment - ryanair, paypal, digitalspy, guardian, even some of the websites that check if a website is down.

I rebooted my router a number of times, thinking that it might the problem.
Then I noticed it seemed to be to do with DNS lookup, so thought my ISP's server might be broken, so I changed to Google DNS which seemed better, but some sites still weren't working.
Then I changed to Open DNS, and everything was working again.
Nice to know it wasn't my equipment anyway. But worrying that the internet can be disrupted so easily.0 -
