Fly to Newark on the later flight from Heathrow,Virgin airline as it's the Dreamliner ...
Unless you are flying premium economy or business class, I would say avoid the dreamliner. It's narrower than a 777 but most airlines cram 9 seats across in 3-3-3. The seats are far too narrow.

I have only ever flown premium so unaware economy was narrower, but guru shows Dreamliner economy same as all other virgin planes and also same a BA economy."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

The B787 fuselage diameter is smaller than a B777, so there is less elbow and shoulder room with 3-3-3 seating across in economy.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
