Anyone know which cards let you set your own amount to pay back each month? My two previous cards only let me pay a certain percentage or the full balance. My Barclaycard also give me the option of setting a figure myself, say £100 a month, which i think is better.

All of them - you just have to set up a standing order or do a faster payment.

You will to make sure that the standing order gets credited in the right billing cycle and that the amount you send covers at least the minimum payment due.

You can do a set amount D/D with Lloyds banking group cards.

To expand on the above all of them allow payment by bank transfer and will supply an account number and sort code. Don't forget to quote the reference. Have a look on the back of your statement. From there you can set a standing order or make one-off payments.

In my own situation, my repayments are nearly always variable so I set a direct debit debit to pay the minimum payment and then make an extra payment by bank transfer usually Faster Payments.

I usually don't make payments to a credit card pr pre-paid card by my bank debit card because more than once I have triggered the bank's anti-fraud protection.
