So I have been trying to get a refund on my credit balance for over a month now. In a bid to finally unlock this money I closed my account but guess what its been 3 weeks and no money :-(
Apparently it will take a further 2-3 weeks because humpty passes me onto dumpty really annoying. Anyone else have this much trouble trying to get back money that is yours?

By closing your account, I presume you mean you changed supplier. When you do that the new supplier has to tell you old supplier the meter reading so they can produce your final bill. This can take several weeks.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

If you are on DD you can request a refund online. A few hoops to jumpt through (meter reading, are you sure?), but arrives fairly promplty.0
