2 PCNs from euro car parks help please

Hi, would really appreciate any advice on my case. Have read through the Newbies thread for cases in Scotland and see the majority of advice is to ignore these PCNs.
However I have been really silly, and just received 2 through the post (from Euro car parks). These due to me parking in a large shopping car park beside my workplace. I overstayed their 2 hours free parking limit (I really did not see the sign) - exceeded by 5 hours... on both occasions over the last 2 weekends.
The annoying thing is I don't even usually work in this area but was covering someone's shift for those 2 days and had nowhere to park - assumed it was free parking so wouldn't be noticed. The charge is £35 rising to £60 if not paid within the 14 days X2 so basically my wage for those 2 days.....
First time this has ever happened to me. I don't know if I should pay this. Maybe it is my fault for parking there, I may have paid if it was only the one however two?! I can't really fork out that amount, especially when that rises up to £60 per fine.
Is it worth ignoring even though I am in Scotland, I am worried that I have no defence if I really get called to court? Can probably tell I am the worrier - I may be that unlucky one that they will choose to pursue!
Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!

The sky has been above our heads for billions of years, so it must crash down one of these days, do you also worry it might just fall on your head?
Behave, ignore and relax! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The NEWBIES thread is up to date. It tells you that if the keeper lives in Scotland, or the alleged event happened in Scotland. the advice is to ignore.
Only the driver can be held liable above the border. As long as the parking company do not know who was driving, they are stuffed.
he best way for them to never find out who was driving is to never contact the parking company.
As for being silly, if you didn't see the signs then thy can't have complied with the parking company's trade association code of practice. They were in fact inadequate.
Now, practice ignoring this. Start by doing it for five minutes at a time. Gradually increase this on a daily basis until you can manage to ignore them all day every day. You only have to ignore them for five years then you can ... ignore it for ever.I married my cousin. Thanks both for your speedy replies!
haha I didn't spot any threads on peoples experiences of getting multiple fines and what happened in their cases - and as I'm that idiotic one who gets 2 in a row thought they might try risk that 2nd court appearance.
I guess I'm to expect a load of scary letters and threats to come
Best get practising then...0
