Just keep your doors shut while it is drying as you don't want the local cats leaving you any "gifts" in the cat littler :money:Will try the cat litter idea. cheers"We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0

You can get rechargeable silica gel dehumidifier boxes really cheap, buy two, you connect them to mains, they recharge, you then rotate them between the car and charging. They'll soak up about 300ml of water each, they're also a great idea for popping in the car to cure interior mist on cold mornings.
They look like this (ignore the branding) and should cost under £15 for two on a well known auction site. “I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.” “I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Take the boot carpet out and dry it. Under that will just be the wheel well which you can wipe dry.0

2 litres is nothing really. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Put the heater on hot and down for a while and it'll be fine.0

cat litter tied in a sock makes great de-humidifiers0

I would not worry too much as it will dry naturally - people get far too "precious" about their cars lol0

Thanks for that info, I had no idea those were available, could be very useful!Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

As said already, 2L of water is nothing at all to worry about.
Lift the carpet where you can, so that air can circulate. Last time I had a similar issue (lots more than 2L) I put some scrap lengths of plastic pipe underneath the soundproofing to create some airspace.
Keep the aircon going full blast if you have it. If it's not a hatchback, you might want to fold or remove the back seats to get the air to circulate.
If you can take the boot carpet out to dry it, do it.
Of course, if it's not water, but something sugary, you'll want to strip out everything you can.
If it's milk, just sell the car, now!
These days I only drive Land Rovers, it's not properly wet inside if I can still see the gearstick :rotfl:0
