Hi,
I had a 2l bottle of water in the back of the car. It has leaked all over the floor (no car matts). What is the best way to stop any condensation and mould to stop forming?
I do not have access to a garage to allow it to vent.
Thanks

You need to get the water out as much as possible. Use old towels to soak up as much as you can. Can you lift up the carpet and squeeze towels through or a wet n dry vac?
Then spray some disinfectation down and use some throwaway dehumidifiers.
When you drive along it will help to turn the heating up and have the windows open a little.
2 litres as a one off I don't think will be too much of a concern. On our old Corsa there was a leak through the brake cylinder servo and there was at least 2 gallons of water under the rear passenger area. The man without a signature.0 -
Lots of towels and hair dryer to finish off?0

The carpet is already dry to touch. Obviously the water has to go somewhere but using towels will not help.
Will stick down some disinfectant.0 -
Get 3 or 4 of those moisture absorber plastic boxes kits from Asda, Home Bargains, Poundstretcher etc. Very cheap and very effective after you've mopped up the max you can with paper towels.

Don't put disinfectant down, it will damage the carpets and maybe the floor as well as stinking.
put dehumidifiers in and use the air con (if you have it) all the time for a while - it drys the incoming air and so removes moisture from the car,0 -

The liquid produced in these is aggresive, be careful not to touch it or spill it and take them out when you drive.0 -
disinfectant may well be corrosive. Can you sprinkle absorbent granules like cat litter on the area leave overnight remove and repeat.
Drive about with the aircon and heating on too.
There is nothnig to disinfect if you dry it quick enough you will not get mould.
Or hire a dehumidifier and leave running in the car.0 -
