You can hardly compare between 2 different cars with so many different components at work!
I was comparing the drive and how it felt on wheels with different sizes.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Mine has 18" alloys 215/45/18 and I don't think the ride is any better or worse than my old car which had 15"I was comparing the drive and how it felt on wheels with different sizes.
You're comparing 2 different cars. If one feels more comfortable, is it the wheels/tyres? Or is it the seats, springs, dampers, chassis etc etc. Yours is not a valid comparison.0
