A Different Switch Question for you all (regarding MBNA)

Dear Members
Here's a little problem that I don't see answered elsewhere here so I hope you can help:
I have an MBNA Diamond Club Visa Card which as you all know has just ditched its AVIOS scheme.
I only kept and used this card for the air mileage benefits (I was an original BMi member) and have always cleared my balance every month.
It is now of no use to me and the £60 annual fee is not worth it. So I want to ditch the card - however I have a number of regular subscriptions and payments set up with this card.
What is the easiest way of cancelling this card, transferring all these debits across and possibly getting new benefits as well? I understand that Lloyds does an AVOS card but as I do not want to switch debt from this card (because I don't have any) I guess the "switching method" won't work or apply?
Advice and help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you want to cancel the card, contact MBNA.
To change regular payments, contact each company you're paying and give them the new details.
There's no automated way of doing it.0 -
I think the OP is confusing the Bank Current Account switching scheme with balance transfer offers that cc some time offer.
Open the Lloyds Avios card account, once you new account is open and you have details, contact all the regular payment receivers to change payment details, then you close your old account0 -
I suggest you obtain the new credit card before cancelling the old one.
Surely if this card is being withdrawn and replaced by a no-rewards card, then the annual fee will no longer be applied as it can no longer be justified if there are no rewards.0
