video editing and burning software

I used to use windows movie maker to edit, construct a menu and then burn to dvd.
However my new laptop is running windows 10 and I see that it isnt supported.
Can anyone recommend an easy to use video editing software that will do the basics and allow me to set up a menu and burn the project to dvd? I don't really need a lot of the fancy features as long as it is user-friendly.
Would consider free-ware as well as paying for the software.

Movie Maker works on my Windows 10 (x64 Pro, upgrade from Windows 7).
