UK Parking Control LTD ticket in NI

Hi all. My partner received a parking charge from UK Parking Control LTD in Yorkgate cityside in NI in August 2016 and she ignored it. This week she received a letter from debt recovery plus looking £160. I've had a read through the stickys and other posts on here from people in NI but they are a few years old and I wasn't sure if anything has changed around these charges. It seems to be if you are NI or Scotland that you just ignore them and don't pay anything? Is this still the case? Should we bin this debt letter and just forget about it?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Otherwise, the advice to ignore in NI remains good (unless there's a hire/courtesy car involved). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

UKPC well know that N. Ireland and Scotland are out of bounds if they don't know who the driver is. Nobody will tell them anyway
DRP ? THEY JUST WANT TO SCARE people, no power, useless timewasting company who also know they cannot do anything.
It would be a shame to bin the DRP letter and any others.
They are good for paper planes, cat litter trays, fire lighters or teaching your children how not to behave.
WARNING
Do not throw DRP letters down the toilet, they just add to the c*ap in the sewers.0 -

Cheers!0
