LLOYDS Delayed Transactions!!

So 3 times in the last month i have had these delayed transactions when trying to set up a new payee!! I ring them up like they ask and answer all of their questions. But they insist on me going into branch to show ID
Although I have already done this 3 bloody times, absolutely cra[p service. I live in a rural area where there isn't a llloyds bank and it takes a long time to get to one and i work 9-5 so can't always get there!!
Why does this keep happening? So bloody stupid!!!
i am going to be leaving lloyds as it is too much hassle, where can i switch my bank too that is good and don't treat there customes like criminals!!!
