Car Finance
Evening,
I have recently applied for car finance with BMW Financial Services. Quite rightly they wanted details of my previous addresses of which I provided 2...my current address of which I have been registered on the electoral roll since 2015 and my parents address, of which I was previously registered on the electoral roll between 2009-2012.
BMW have come back and asked for additional information relating to missing 3 years whereby I wasn't on the electoral roll, which was whilst I was living in shared accommodation due to working in a different city and still believing I was on the electoral roll at my parents.
Has anybody had a similar experience? And does anybody think it will affect my application and the decision to give me finance?
Thanks,
Tinaroo

Will it affect your application? Quite likely, if they think you have a habit of going missing off the electoral roll it can make it hard for them to trace you.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Thanks for commenting. I wouldn't necessarily say I have a habit of going missing off the electoral roll. I turned 16 in 2009 and have lived at 3 addresses, I just wasn't registered on the electoral roll at the 2nd address as it was temporary shared accommodation.0

Which they won't like, as you should be registered on the electoral roll wherever you're living, shared or not.0 -
