hi,
anyone ever had "We're sorry, we're not able to process your request. Please try again later." when trying to add bank details to their Paypal account?
specifically for me its Nationwide BS.
I have had a Santander account registered for a long time but removed that a couple of weeks ago.
I use a NW CC for payments but it just wont accept the details for the current account.
I rang CS and although polite and helpful couldn't actually solve the problem.
thanks.
p.s I have also today removed an old telephone number and added a mobile which I was able to verify.

We have personal NW FlexDirect accounts & those are on Paypal including the debit & credits cards.
Maybe just a glitch, like their 24hr delay on emails for the last week

following on from my OP and having followed the "wait 24 hours" advice from the CS guy who couldn't see the problem I have tried again:
    NW
    BoS
    Santander

its actually any account wont add, not just NW as I thought yesterday.

I did have a Santander account registered but removed it and cancelled the DD some weeks ago.
on first calling CS yesterday they could see that old Santander account and reinstated it (which I saw online momentarily) until I informed them it wasn't actually that one I wanted as my active account.

only other changes to my account were that I added and verified a mobile number yesterday and have received a couple of payments from ebay sales in last 2 days (new to selling after 10 years).

has anyone had this issue of not being able to add ANY bank account?

I have sent them a secure message for now, anyone have experience of if the "24 hour" time frame is accurate? edit. quick reply within 15 mins, asked me to try again as they made adjustments but still not working. they've escalated issue.

    thanks again.

    just to update.
after the fast reply to my secure message but no joy the issue was escalated and was told a resolution would be found in 24 - 48 hours.
less than 48 hours and as promised all sorted. "adjustments made to your account, please try to add your account".
added, confirmed and a withdrawal processed. the withdrawal being instant to the bank was a real bonus/surprise.
