Help Buying/Budgeting for a Used Car
I'm thinking of buying a used car soon by paying so much every month and was wondering if anyone could give me any tips or advice on places to go and how I could actually budget for it since I'm usually crap at budgeting and a car loan is one thing i couldn't be late paying for.
I would be looking at an 04 plate probably a Focus/Fiesta or Astra.
I know i have to pay tax and insurance and obviously petrol but are there any other things?
Thanks

Hi,
I am looking for a Fiesta as well...around 04 - 060 -
Out of the cars mentioned for budgeting wise, go for the fiesta as it's probably the cheapest of the 3. But it's also a pretty decent car, 04 will be the new current shape. http://www.autotrader.co.uk is always a good place to start, http://www.gumtree.com and if you know someone who knows a little about cars then ebay cars is also a very good option.
Price wise, do a little research and read through the reviews on your chosen car. U can always negotiate on prices of private sales. Goodluck with finding you car.0
