Paint job - quote

I have a minor painting job or (jobs) that I'd like to get done professionally. First is an end wall of a living room, measures approximately 5 x 2,5 meters (or 16 x 8 feet). It has a fireplace and a built-in bookshelf. Second is a main door frame. It's suffered bit of damage on one side due to my bicycle bumping into it from time to time so the painting's been chipped. I'm just looking for very rough ballpark figures as far as cost since I've never paid to have anything like this done before and I haven't a clue whether I'm looking at £50 or £500. I live in Scotland (Edinburgh).

About a days work, £150 including materials I'd say.0
