Junk, could be from this one (lots of people have had phone calls)

  • I got a call last night, quite late. I politely asked them to take me off their database as I wan't interested in any holiday I hadn't won outright including travel, accommodation and with no sales pitch. They were very nice about it.
  • thanks both - confirmed my suspicions told her I could not attend the presentation (also they wanted confirmation that our household income was over 30k per year - which it is not)
  • Hi I received their phone call last month and their conformation letter next day , they want me and my partner to come to their 2 hrs presentation about their holiday scheme. They said I can't bring my baby with me because their building is not licensed to have children under 8 .
My partner is not very impressed with that and I cancelled my win.
But they seems to be genuine to me. The only thing they want in return is a review about the holiday in trip advisor.

I had the call last night & put the phone down on him, twice I asked him to get to the point but he continued to jabber on.

I've just had one too. I let him drivel on for ages (on the grounds that I was saving someone who might be taken in by the 'win' word), then when he asked me how much the holiday appealed on a scale of 1-10 (I had 'won' the chance to get 80% discount of a £1000 bill for a self catering apartment!) I said 1, which surprised him. He asked why and I said "because it's a time share and I'm not interested". He tried a couple more times but I just kept repeating my mantra and he said 'Thank you for your time' and rang off. I didn't have much to do today!
BTW I'm not aware of any licensing requirements for allowing babies into buildings - they just don't want you to have to leave because your tot is hungry/tired/bored when they start to put the pressure on.
