Both showers have lost pressure!?

Hi

We had new bathrooms installed a few years ago and as the pressure from them was so low we had to have a new unvented cylinder installed.

Both showers have recently lost pressure (different brands) so we had the cylinder serviced but it has made no difference. One is worse than the other and that one actually started losing the pressure first then the other recently has not been as powerful.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

  • Our shower is downstairs and fed from the combi boiler, it was very strong when first fitted two years ago, last month I noticed it was weaker and thought the shower head may be getting blocked but it was ok, I then tried moving the temperature lever (which never gets touched usually) side to side, it was tight at first but soon freed up, now shower pressure back to normal

Have you seen a pressure drop anywhere else (from taps etc)?
