Hi all
Do any of you have contact details or experience of working with a private social worker? Specifically looking for one that deals with adult physical disability and poverty

thanks in anticipation

Hi, I don't know of any independent social workers who do this type of work; normally they are contracted by local authorities/ courts/ agencies to undertake specific types of assessment work.
Is there a reason your local council can not help you? If you are struggling with a disability you are entitled to an assessment under the Care Act- just phone your local council Adult Social Work team.
    Hope this helps
