Debt recovery letter for car that isn't mine!!?

Hi all,
I do have another case I am fighting but I also received a debt recovery letter from Debt Recovery Plus with my name and address attached to a car reg that isn't mine.
Basically 2 years ago my friend visited me at home and the land is managed by uk car park management ltd. We put a visitors permit in the windscreen but they said it wasn't valid and she got a ticket.
I phoned and explained the situation. Then never heard anything else till this letter from DRP. I contact them saying they have got the wrong keeper/driver. Now they want my friends details and I said it's futile because she didn't receive the NTK within 56 days.
Shall I give them the details or what shall I do?

Send a letter of complaint to the DVLA that DRP are harassing you, suggesting you owe them parking charges for a car you have no ownership of, nor have ever driven. Tell the DVLA that you suspect a serious breach of the DPA is currently playing out here.
Do not mention anything about the car being that of your friend. And do not give DRP any details of your friend, and for goodness sake, stop phoning DRP (or any debt collector or parking company for that matter). They deal with this stuff every day and calling them will inevitably end with you handing them something on a plate that will not be to your advantage.
And there it is - on a plate! And you're not correct on the '56 days'. They can chase this for up to six years. 56 days applies only in certain circumstances. Now they want my friends details and I said it's futile because she didn't receive the NTK within 56 daysPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I have already said it was my friends, I didn't know what to do!
They want me to call back with her tel number so they can chase her.
what do I do now??0 -
What circumstances does it only apply to?? Surely it will be in this case as its been two years and she has received no word of it, nor me for that matter0

What part of "do not call DRP" was unclear to you?sarahsexton wrote: »They want me to call back with her tel number so they can chase her.

Please re-read the first paragraph of my previous post. That's what you need to do to try to end this.
If DRP call you again, put the phone down, then block their number. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

DRP are timewasting again.
Nobody talks to them let alone giving personal details of someone
The exciting stupid letters they send, best to use in a cat litter tray or similar0
