It seems that most of the 54 IPC member companies are being led up the garden path by 'joke solicitors' Gladstones (copyright: Parking Prankster), and find themselves trying to argue in court based on rubbish bundles or inadequate particulars, resulting in cases being thrown out and costs awarded against them.
This is obviously a national scandal, which is having a serious impact on these poor PPCs' ability to run viable businesses. Perhaps MSE should now set up a sub-forum, so that regulars on here can provide advice to these unfortunate victims on how not to get 'Gladstoned'.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. I do wonder sometimes who is scamming who.
The PPC are scamming the consumer/motorist/registered keeper, but then are Hurley & Davies also scamming the PPCs with their pseudo-ATA and legal services?

What is amazing is "do these parking scammers" not read forums, don't they read the Parking Prankster ?
Don't they understand that by using Gladstones, they are being scammed ?
We have said before ..... use Gladstones, Hurley and Davies at their peril0
