  • I do hope that my local Tesco has lots left! Marmite is a great anti mosquito aid! No, you do not spread it on your skin - just eat it every day and your skin exudes a smell the biting mossies hate!My husband and cat love it too so £1 a jar is a bargain! Thanks!
  • Try Marmite and poached egg on Wholemeal toast for breakfast...gorgeous...

Thanks for this my mam and i bought a few jars today. I wonder why it is this price as a 125g jar is £1.06 not that I'm complaining the amount of marmite we eat!!

The world really IS divided into those who hate marmite and those who love it. I don't know of any other product that attracts such a totally split opinion. Can anyone explain it?

I think that it depends on whether you grew up eating it or not. Folks who didn't, can't seem to like it once they grow up. I LOVE it!!!
"Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."
  • Just got mine today, great find!

It's weird because their 125kg jars are £1.06! But who am I to complain?

I really miss marmite flavoured mini-chedders - do they even make them any more?
