Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
Gosh the central heating is blasting away. I need to turn some of the rads down a bit, OH is going about in his shirt sleeves. Did not light the fire last night, we did not need to.
Today I need to finish sorting the sewing room, connect up the sewing machines and push the Dyson over the carpet. Then I can make a start on my pile of UFO's.
Not sure what's for supper tonight, need to sort out the freezers too and defrost the salmon for tomorrow's supper. I forgot to get fish when we were in Alldi the other day.0 -
No sleep last night, the dog was pacing about and trying to be sick, so at 2am I got up and put him in the garden, he still didn't settle so I am cream crackered today
Finally got the "urgent" appointment with the spinal consultant for 29th November, that will make the wait twelve weeks not four :mad:, there is no way I am going to have surgery before or just after Christmas  They can work around me now
You can come out now............. rant over
Shoulder is better today though, clouds and silver linings
Went shopping when DH got home from his shift and it has all been put away and the veggies are prepped and frozen.
I had quite a bit of cauli left over from last night (A huge one from the market for 70p), just enough to make a cauli cheese for our lunch, which was lovely.
DS is cooking dinner tonight which will be a nice treat, cod with a topping of lime and chillies with HM wedges and peas, very tasty. I taught my two how to cook from a very early age and seeing as DS chose to live at home and travel to Uni ( He only has to go for three days a week at the moment) so it works out well.
Hope you get your leaky loo fixed ASAP Hester (((hugs)))
TA I know how tiring hospital visits are, especially when you have to travel a long distance to get there, hope all goes well xx
Still holding out on the Central heating and not even put the stove on yet, but I don't think that it will be long

Hi chums,
been pretty busy today this morning I did a wash load, and made 2 litres of leek and potato soup for the next few days lunches etc then went food shopping .
I was going to go yesterday but decided to re-jig my week a bit.I was only going to do a top-up shop, but decided to do a bigger one which means as next week is half term I don't need to go near a shop at all now
I have more than enough to get me through until the end of the month.
Spent just over £29 odd so I am still well under my £60 budget for the month:):) and I managed to get my washing line dried as well so I'm pleased with that.
Hope everyone has had a good day and <<hugs >> for those who need one
Just had DGS Mikey make me a nice cuppa and I'm sitting down with my feet up after all my rushing around .Tomorrow I have the hairdressers in the morning and history club in the afternoon
Hope everyone is having a good day
Cheers chums
