Contents insurance when landlord's personal belongings are stored in tenanted home

Does anyone know where to obtain contents insurance when letting out my home whilst I work away? The tenant will be renting my furnished flat and I will be storing my personal belongings there in a locked room which the tenant won't have access to..

The tenant will be insuring their own belongings but I need cover for the contents used by the tenant, my personal belongings in the locked room and personal liability cover.

I would appreciate any suggestions..

A Landlords insurance policy will cover your personal liability and can included contents cover for your property that the tenant has the use of; the unusual requirement is to insure your own property stored in a part of the property that is not demised to the tenant. You might find a Landlords insurance policy where the wording is sufficiently vague so as to cover your situation, but I'm not aware of any such policy.

As long as you enter into the contract in good faith, there should no problem if you need to claim.
