use credit card to pay by BACs

quick question .
having had some work done and got the invoice in .
the invocie has the usual payment methods cheques ,cash,BACs transfer.
in order to keep control of cash flow i intend to pay on a credit card.
does anyone know if it is possible to pay an invoice by credit card via BACs or do i need to go onto the bank and ask them ?

No on a credit card unless that card has a money transfer feature and you would have to use the facility into your own account and then transfer using faster payments to the said invoice account number.

No need to go into the bank as the facility is not there, if you let us know the credit card your thinking of using then we can let you know your options or you can apply for a new one that offers the facility, the checker on this website would list your chances of success with a money transfer card.

Your only options are cash advance (usually 3% fee + interest from day 1) or money transfer if your credit card allows it and you currently have an offer.
