Wood oil - any tips?

Hi
I need quite a large quantity of wood oil or something similar to prepare new doors & bannisters, stair rails, etc. DIY shops seem to be charging about £9 for 200ml & I'm sure I'll need a lot more than that. Any ideas what to use & where to buy it?
Many thanks

Wood oil - like Teak Oil or Linseed Oil?
Have you tried Wickes, they're prices are better than some of the other DIY stores. Failing that if you need it in large quantities you could get it mail order - Screwfix or Toolstation.0
