Boiler filler tap adaptor?

Hi guys
Problem: The boiler (glow worm cxi) has a blue filler tap that is very difficult for my friend to turn (osteoarthritis) it also pees water when repressuring. Is there an adaptor that can be fitting in its place that would suit a person with disabilities?
British gas homecare are coming out tomorrow(thurs) as it keeps losing pressure(I've check the rads for leaks etc but all looks good) They fitted a part last week-manifold HW & CH-as water was running from another part,pressure was great before they came.
