Bathroom floor quote

Hi,


I am having the following work done on a 3m2 bathroom:
- Laying of 3mm ply overboard.
- Laying of self adhesive vinyl floor tiles.
- re fitting existing toilet.


I have been quoted £300 for 2 people to do it in a day. I thought it was enough for one person for a day but as I type it perhaps 2 man days is reasonable.


Any views on this?

ply - £6-7
tiles, you will supply or will they? either way £40 if they supply something from upper-market

could be done in 3-4hours -1man.
-£150 max I would think If they supply the flooring would be a decent rate.

If you were my neighbour and I wouldn't have anything else to do on saturday evening I would do it for £50 if you would have already bought the materials..

I have brought all the materials but then I broke my wrist so couldn’t actually do the work. I thought it would take a day so £150 seems reasonable.

The problem is no one seems to want to do self adhesive tiles. Perhaps its too small a job. Given its taken me a while to find this one person I think Ill just have to go with it.
