help with internet connection please !

Daughter and friends have just moved into house. Previous students left a note saying that their internet provider was tiscali. They are trying to get connected but need to know the phone number for the house ! they've rung the landlord but he has no idea !!!! stuck...so any advice would be most welcome.Thanks.
