putting washing powder in the conditioner tray

my washing machine is showing a basket with 2 lines in it. now after searching online and nearly 24 hours later i realised at 1am this morning i put the powder in the softner tray and softner in the powder tray. without calling samsung any way i fit it?

its wont now cycle. it flashes the basket and 2 lines.

flushed it it did nothing. the is ok its got lots of of hard scale so nothing clean

then you are in a more informed position than the clairvoyants on here who are trying to imagine what you have done, which washing machine it is, and what a basket with two lines looks like

Make a solution of 1 to 1 vinegar and water and warm it up a little.

Take the detergent tray out and let it soak in your solution for a couple of hours.

Remove and scrub clean with something like an old toothbrush.

Rinse off.

If scale still there, repeat with neat vinegar.

I think the 'DIY not' forums have people that understand error messages.

Or if it isn't that forum, google 'what does samsung washing machine error message mean' or similar. There's definitley a forum out there.

typicaly the standard symbols on the tray are

2 lines main wash
1 line pre wash
other softener. (often a flower type symbol)


which model washer.

is it new one with auto detergent or and old model?

Samsung codes are normally 2 letters/numbers.
