Freeview+ Recorders - Problems since last week

I don't know if it's been reported elsewhere on here, but there are problems (which started around last Wednesday or Thursday) with several makes of PVRs including Digital Stream, and some Sony and Humax boxes.

I was about to bin my box when I discovered it's not just me!

Problems include:-
Box does not always respond to remote or is very slow to respond.
EPG very slow to scroll through and does not respond sometimes.
Rewind or skip back causes box to freeze and restart.
Duplicate recordings are being made.
Difficult to make and cancel reservations.

There are more details on this Digital Stream forum (post 1618 onwards), but as you will read the problems also apply to some Sony and Humax owners, not just Digital Stream.

It looks like a problem with the transport stream rather than the recorders, so hopefully the broadcasters will sort it out.
