3, Thirdly, so ppl have just to take the banks word when they say they’ve only got records for 6 years?
If you don't believe them then you can spend £10 and do a data subject access request. However, that would be pointless for you as you are not going to get the redress on a successful complaint.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Why should they have to take your word for it when you allege a missale?3, Thirdly, so ppl have just to take the banks word when they say they’ve only got records for 6 years?
There seems to be no evidence that you were sold PPI - and if something has not been sold to you then, by definition, it cannot have been missold. This is the same banks that mis-sold them the PPI in the first place.
I don't think people have a problem with that per se - it is that you seem to think that there might be an asset which accrued before your bankruptcy and that you should be entitled to it ahead of those you did not pay back, simply because you did not find out it existed until now.We feel bad enough without people assuming were terrible at handling money and massively defaulting.0 -
Ah ok I get it, so if a corner shop short changed me 30 years ago that 2p becomes an asset and because I was made Bankrupt 10 years ago I don't have a claim on it.
Honestly some people should climb down from their pedestal before answering.0 -

No - assuming you were missold then it was already an asset, even if you did not know of its existence.Ah ok I get it, so if a corner shop short changed me 30 years ago that 2p becomes an asset and because I was made Bankrupt 10 years ago I don't have a claim on it.
Looks like I have outed the troll.Honestly some people should climb down from their pedestal before answering.0 -

No, you don't. You do seem to be having difficulty understanding this though, or more likely, you are feeling shortchanged and don't want to understand it.
