Pedal for Scotland

Options
Just completed the 55 mile Glasgow to Edinburgh bike ride at the weekend for Pedal for Scotland - http://www.pedalforscotland.org/
Raised £620 for Leukemia Research so chuffed about that :)

Anyone else take part - how did you do?

Must have been the wetest, coldest day of the year so far...lol...typical!

  • Second consecutive year of entering the event.

Have to agree with you about the weather, especially as I had an hour of unforeseen stops due to punctures... not fun and neither were the cobbles in South Queensferry after 40 miles

Well done on the sponsorship total... I managed £430 last year and at the moment that has dropped to £205, but still got a few relatives to "hit" for sponsorship.

Nice one! There did seem to be a shed load of puncture sufferers - especially in the first 20 miles or so - I managed through ok :)
Cobbles were a pain (literally) but a fairly good ride - only 'killer' would be the one bigish hill (S Queensferry?) - although I'm surprised there are no accidents the way some people were floating about the roads oblivious to the traffic!!!

    Roll on next year ;)
