Gladstones Solicitors - No to mediation and wants to be dealt with on papers

I have now received a small Claims track questionaire from the court regarding my claim. Gladstones Solicitors have stated that they want the case to be dealt with on papers and want no mediation. Does this make the case more difficult for me? Should I ask for the case to be heard orally? Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
But obviously don't copy word for word. E.g. the Equality Act 2010 is only relevant if you are claiming you are covered by it.0

Thank you for the quick response and link. I thought it would be better to take the case to an oral hearing. Many thanks x0

Hello Sparklepow
I have received the exact same reply from Gladstone Solicitors (Gladstones Solicitors - No to mediation and wants to be dealt with on papers) what do I do?
What was your outcome ? Did you visit the court for hearing? or did you deal with it on the papers as they suggested.
your help is appreciated.
Many thanks

read the BARGEPOLE post linked in post #2 of the NEWBIES sticky thread
only a fool would say yes to dealing on papers (hint)
it is unlikely that this OP will respond given how old this thread is0 -

Hi Redx
So I have a letter from the Gladstone Solicitors, do I wait for the court to send me forms, or I reply to Gladstone solicitors?0 -
start your own thread using the red NEW THREAD button , top left of this forum
then read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, which is "stuck" to the top of this forum with a few others
especially read the link to the BARGEPOLE post about the whole process (linked in post number 2) , he tells you what to do , do it0
