Built in oven

Was wondering does anyone know if you can fit a built in electric double oven in the space of a single one?

all depends on the existing and new sizes.
In the main no.
AO.com is good for listing sizes and required apertures.

What might be a problem is the power feed.
Many single ovens are around 3kw but doubles can be far higher than this.
If when the wiring was put in it was only suitable for a single oven then this will need to be changed.
