MSE credit club

I just tried to set up an MSE credit club account but it is asking for 3 different card details. I only have my debit card. No current/active credit cards. Anyone know if there is a way around this? Very frustrating!!

Hi Amber

The verification process used for Credit Club is powered by Experian. Given the large amount of personal detail which is available through your credit report, it is important that it can be sufficiently certain that you are who you say you are.

Where possible Experian will ask you questions about items on your report. But in addition to this (particularly if your credit file is more limited), it'll ask you to confirm your card details to further verify your identity.

To counter against the threat of cybercrime and the theft of your personal details, it may not be sufficient to just enter one card, and in some scenarios you'll be asked for two or even three.

Here at MSE, we're continuing to work with Experian to try to improve the verification journey and ensure it is working as smoothly as possible. However for the moment if you don’t have any additional cards to enter, it wouldn’t be possible for you to fully register for Credit Club at this stage.
