New NatWest Under 18's Account

The card's displayed on the website begin 6759, this is a Maestro number (Solo is 6767 I think), maybe they have put the logo on the back of the card so as not to spoil the design?

Pfffffffft. Salary is currently paid into Nationwide anyway but I won't switch it to A&L (despite the 10% interest) if they don't provide a debit card.

And i'd never join HSBC - because when your 18 they don't offer any decent accounts and the staff in my branch look like there in a social club with each other!

With Barclays i now have a Visa Debit card and Electron (Rolled in one, accepted anywere the Visa logo is displayed!)
No being left out because of solo, i'm in with Visa!

Well I don't think this is a reason for not joining HSBC, yeah their current accounts are poor but will look around for my best option when I turn 18, not hard to change banks.

Also when I looked into Barclays account the account is 11-15 only.

Oh and my statement also still say's 'card plus'
