This November food lovers across the country will be in for a treat as the BBC Good Food Show takes to the road bringing its successful recipe to three great cities; Glasgow, London and Birmingham. More people than ever before will now be able to enjoy the popular combination of entertainment by celebrity chefs, tops hints and tips for better home cooking and a chance to do some serious shopping in the run up to Christmas.

For the very first time, the BBC Good Food Show is coming north of the border and will open its doors in the centre of gourmet Scotland at the SECC in Glasgow on 2 – 4 November. The BBC Good Food Show Scotland will feature The Winter Kitchen with demonstrations from top celebrities such as Gordon Ramsay and James Martin and a special Healthy Living Cookery Theatre to show that cooking healthily can be quick, easy and delicious. Drinks, the Fine Wine, Beer and Spirits Show will be featuring tasting sessions and a host of quality exhibitors will be offering everyone the chance to stock up early for Christmas. The established whisky tasting event of the year, Whisky Live, is also taking place at the SECC alongside the BBC Good Food Show Scotland, making it an unmissable day out for food and drink enthusiasts.

The BBC Good Food Show London will be cooking up a storm at Olympia from 16-18 November after a hugely successful 2006 show. All the exciting features that drew last year’s record number of visitors will be back including The Ultimate Cookery Experience, sponsored by Sainsbury’s and featuring demonstrations from celebrity chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Rick Stein, Raymond Blanc and James Martin. The Festive Must Haves section will be offering traditional Christmas fare with a difference and The Great British Food Festival and Henrietta Green’s FoodLovers Fair will be championing great quality food producers. There will also be some inspiring new additions, a bigger drinks section and extended opening hours so that visitors can shop for longer! The new expanded Dining Experience will give visitors the chance to sample even more dishes from some of the capital’s finest eating establishments.

Then it’s off to the NEC for the BBC Good Food Show Birmingham where the biggest of the shows will take place between 28 November and 2 December. At the centre of it all will be the celebrity 2,700 seat Supertheatre with its star-studded line up of chefs including Gordon Ramsay and Rick Stein and tantalising aromas together with the drinks tasting theatres and masterclasses offering advice and inspiration for everyone. Visitors will even have the opportunity to develop their own ideas for new kitchen products with a brand new competition called “My Kitchens Most Wanted” sponsored by Lakeland. And once again we will be proud to host the Gordon Ramsay Scholarship presented by Gordons Gin.
